Cinnamon Roll Overs
2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
1tsp Baking Powder
¼ tsp Salt
½ Cup Milk (or water if your dog is lactose intolerant)
1 Large Egg
¼ Cup Canola Oil
2 Tbsp Honey
1 tsp Cinnamon
½ Cup Finely Chopped Walnuts or Pecans (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combing the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, combine the milk, egg, and oil. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients and mix gently.
On a silicone mat, or lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a 9×12in rectangle. Cover the dough with honey, cinnamon, and nuts.
Roll the dough, starting at the long edge. use honey to help the dough stay rolled.
Cut the rolled dough into ½ in slices and place on the baking sheet.
Bake 15 minutes. Allow to cool. You can add icing or glaze if you would like.
