Chicken Gravy

1 lb Ground Chicken

¼ Cup Chopped Carrots

¼ Cup Frozen Green Peas

3 Cups Chicken Stock Low Sodium (without onions or garlic)

2 Tbsp Cornstarch

½ Cup Cold Water

  1. Cook the ground chicken in a skillet, breaking it up as it cooks.

  2. Add stock, carrots, and peas to the skillet. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes.

  3. Mix the cornstarch and cold water. Slowly add it to the gravy mixture while stirring. Remove the Skillet from heat and allow to cool.

  4. If you want a chunky gravy, remove some of the chicken and vegetables. Put the rest in a blender and blend until smooth. You may need to do this in batches. If you saved any meat and vegetables, add them back in.

  5. Serve over your dog’s food.
